After much confrontation (yes, confrontation), I am delightfully going to Columbus College of Art and Design.
Pratt Institute was my number one choice, but alas they are too costly. My parents would've had to pay $120,000 including interest because of loans, and Pratt wouldn't budge on pricing. They even went so far as to state that they had plenty of other potential students lined up to take my place if I wasn't willing to pay it.
CCAD, however, has been kind. Tuition is pretty low, the college is well accredited (just as much as Pratt), and they've been keeping me in touch and in the loop. I even got a mini-sketchbook and a personal thank-you/congrats note from an Admissions Officer I met earlier in the school year. Overall, they're a much more fitting option, and I'm okay with that.
So with that, I am becoming a CCAD student. Yay!
