Glistened Silver His eyes glistened silver and his mind turned cold as he laid there calmly on his bed, just waiting for Death to welcome and hold him in its arms. He never knew it, but Death would never touch him, for His light was with this child. It wrapped and coiled around the infant, yet he never knew. He never understood.....

The mother sat there, placing a hand on her son's fragile heart, tears falling down her broken, gloomy face. The beat was softly filling her head with intoxicating thoughts of roses and fields of never ending love. She stifled a wail, as she looked into her son's glazed eyes, yet she never realized. Poor man, He was unable to walk,
But was shoved to the Cross for you.

He was laid upon it's cold texture.
It seethed into His flesh,
Leaving an imprint upon Him,
While he laid upon the Cross for you.

His soul gasped as the first nail came.
They jammed it with glee into his palm.
He resisted the urge to save Himself.
He had to die on the Cross for you.

The second and third, then the fourth.
He held back through it all.
They slowly raised Him up on that deathbed.
And they mocked His very name.

'The King!' They yelled with laughter.
He took it all with no regret.
Mid-Night Snack Silence is a gloomy thing in a house.
The rooms are deathly whispers.
Halls turn into a best friend.
It's a creepy feeling,
But it's interesting.

The lights outside fly by,
Never looking back at me.
So odd, but it's true completely.
They never look back,
But it's interesting.

The shapes just grin and stand.
They waver slightly in my presence.
The darkness hides them completely.
I can't see them at all,
But it's interesting.

A light bursts forth, standing out.
It's wide, and tall, but stuffed fully.
I grab the handle, and shut it.
And it churns inside lightly,
But it's interesting.
