Literature Text

As you take a look at the Staff Lounge, you find everything to be cheery. All is created from jelly, even the cups and the plates you see on a small jelly coffee table by a jelly couch and chair. A soda machine is placed precisely three feet from the couch and chair, right next to the counter where jelly food is held. Here, chats are held by the background runners of a corporation, or, as they liked to be called, the "Staff". But did you know the 'Staff Lounge' isn't really where they conduct meetings?

In a room, marked as "Administration Only", an oval table is placed with a television screen on the farthest side from the door. Dark blue decor and no light except from a lamp in the center of the only furniture in the room really makes this place seem more like a spot for things to go to hell than for pieces to knit together in peace.

This is where they speak.

It was somewhere in the morning, around six, maybe, when Nynex (a joy-filled "Mod" with the most eccentric of an outfit and accessories) entered into the depressing room. The lamp always stayed on, so there was no need for her to fumble around and stub her toe on a chair. She had files in one hand and a suitcase in the other. These were dropped by the side of a chair which stood right beside the screen. She pulled out a pencil from her hair, and fiddled it between her thin fingers.

After a few seconds, Nynex looked up. A silhouette of a girl shone in the doorway.

"Hey, Aila." Nynex smiled, then went back to her pencil.

"Mhmm." She took a chair next to her. Aila was, as well, a Mod, so they both knew each other quite well in their work. "There has been a lot of revolt recently from the Members."

"Sadly, yes." Nynex hung her head in worry. "This is probably why the meeting was called."

Aila nodded her head. She pulled out a pen and a piece of paper. "It was mostly, though, from these people. I've memorized them all rather well."

Nynex tilted her head to look. "Ah, yes, I know them all rather well, too." Her pencil hit the top of the table softly. "Are the rest always late?"

Aila kept writing. "Mhmm."

All the Staff came in within the hour. As they each took their designated spot, there was no words that were given to each other. The only thing given was a recognition of each others existence; eye contact.

Silence was the leader for about ten minutes. No one spoke, moved, or even dared to breathe.

He would be there soon enough.

Suddenly, there was a creaking coming from outside. "My God, I told y'all to stop bothering us!" Soon enough, someone busted in, with a small pink creature trying to bite his leg. The foot made contact with it, shoving it out the door. He closed it with a slam.

The man regained composure. "Staff."

"Leader." They all spoke in unison, except Aila who was too busy writing.

He gave her a stare of irritation. "A-hem."

She looked up, and swallowed in fright. "Leader."

"There." With a swift shuffle, he had reached the chair which was at the end, away from the screen by the door. "Now, I have called you all forth for one reason and one reason only."

Their attention was focused on him and him alone.

"Recently, there have been some... disturbances in the order of how things are ran. Difficulties, if I may say." He straightened his tie a bit. "And I will have these difficulties eliminated, or my name isn't Dave. Are we clear?"

"Yes." Everyone stated in unison.

"Now, I did not only bring you here to simply say what I intend to do, for I do not know quite yet what action should be taken." Dave placed his hands on the edge of the table. "Which is why you are here. Do we have any suggestions?"

Nobody moved.

"C'mon, no need to be scared." Dave turned to his left. "BoA maintenance?"

Nothing.

"What about you, Content Writers?" Dave spoke louder.

Again, nothing.

In anger, his fists slammed against the table. "Doesn't anyone here know how to be useful?!" He yelled.

There was silence, until Terry, the second head in command, coughed. "I believe I have a suggestion."

Dave smiled. "Finally. Let us hear it."

He looked to the Mods. "Let our trained professionals take care of those who are causing a ruckus."

Suzuka, another head of command, found this to be a bad idea. "That would worry and enrage the other Members and lead some sort of revolution. It has to be more discreet."

Dave nodded. "But how can that be done?"

Suzuka coughed like Terry had done to get everyone's eyes on her. "I may have a solution.

Alright.

A new series, another plot, a whole lot of trouble.

This is just a set up for y'all. There are no Member interaction yet, but there will be in the next chapter.

And yes, I do love the staff for the most part like Aly does, but I kind of find this to be fun. :3
